Mission
Louwers sees itself as a reliable producer of high-quality precision parts for customers who build machines and equipment in diverse markets. This mission is dynamic and evolves with technological developments, allowing Louwers to continuously develop its role as a reliable supplier of precision parts in the supply chain of machine builders.
The company was founded in 1946 by Jan Louwers as a precision engineering company. Initially, he focused primarily on the watch industry and supplying Philips. In addition, burners and precision mechanical parts, among other things, were produced during this period. Over time, the company began to orient itself towards multiple market segments.
When his sons were old enough, he had them join the business. Both sons had their own distinct interests in the field of production. One chose the production of boat windows, while the other specialized in parts and equipment for measurement and control technology. The latter son, Henk, eventually took over the company from his father and focused entirely on the production of measurement and control technology and machine parts.
In 2002, the then-managing director Mark van Duijnhoven acquired Henk Louwers' shares. As director, he further expanded the company. Over the years, Louwers Mechanical Parts BV has increasingly focused on the production of high-quality machine parts. The accumulated knowledge of machining exotic and other demanding materials proved invaluable in this regard.
Over the years, Mark has assembled a loyal, skilled, and diverse team around him, and has managed to achieve steady growth with them.
